Jewelry Care

Our 18k gold plated items are tarnish-free and will maintain their vibrant look as long as they are properly taken care of. Our jewelry can be worn in the shower, pool and beach However, we recommend keeping your piece(s) away from water whenever possible to maintain that fresh shine. If you choose to wear them in the salt/ chlorine water, please remember to wash off the salt/chlorine on the jewelry to keep its shine and look!

In very rare occasions, the jewelry will tarnish because of the PH level in your body. This will happen whether the jewelry is plated or filled with real gold. Skin discoloration happens when too much acid in your body causes your skin to react with your jewelry. If that is the case, we recommend you shopping solid gold pieces.

We recently included BODY JEWELRY. While some are anti- tarnish, some are not. Please read product description for more details.

The short answer is no :)The base metal for all our jewelry is 316L Surgical Steel (unless stated otherwise.) 316L (the "L" refers to "low carbon") is the most commonly utilized surgical stainless steel for body jewelry. It is durable and great for people who have sensitive skin. We use the highest quality steel which makes it more resistant to corrosion and discoloration than other types of stainless steel.We stay away from cheap metals that turn your skin green such as; Brass, Zinc, Nickel, Alloy and Copper. 

Any item that specifies that it is gold-plated in the description box is plated in 18k gold. Solid gold products would be far more expensive than the prices were are able to offer. We strive to balance affordability and quality! 

Plated jewelry is only bad when you try to plate cheap metals such as; Brass, Zinc, Nickel, Alloy and Copper.

Wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth! It's that simple :)

Shipping

Packages are generally dispatched same or next day. Sometimes there will be delays but please be patient as we are still a small business!

Returns/Exchanges

At Stay Golden HI, we're all about creating pieces that celebrate our roots and help you feel proud of what you wear. With that, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out and that’s okay!

If you’re not totally satisfied with your jewelry, you may return the product for a refund under the following conditions:

  1. Items must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date.
  2. Jewelry must be unworn or unused, with tags (for rings), and in its original packaging.
  3. Items marked as final sale or clearance are non-refundable.
  4. Free mystery gifts are not eligible for return or exchange.

If you decide to return the jewelry for a refund or exchange:

  1. Send us an email at hello@staygoldenhi.com with your order number and the items that you’d like to return.
  2. Our team will provide the return instructions, including our return address.
  3. You can purchase the shipping label from your preferred postal service to return the item.

Once we receive and assess your return, we’ll process your refund for the purchase amount of the item, excluding shipping fees. Refunds will take 3-5 business days to be posted back on your account.

Damages and Issues

We want you to love every piece you receive. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or includes the wrong item, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can make it right.

We carefully prepare each order to ensure safe delivery. Once it’s on its way, delays or delivery issues can occasionally happen. If your package goes missing or stolen, we recommend reaching out to USPS for help with locating or filing a claim. Need details from us to support that? Just let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note, we do not offer returns or exchanges after 30 days. (This policy includes in-store purchases)

Stolen or Lost Mail

We first want to apologize if your mail or package got stolen or lost, however this is not our responsibility. Please contact USPS (United States Postal Service) if this happens.
