Our 18k gold-plated pieces are tarnish-free when cared for properly. They’re safe for water and even the ocean, but to keep that fresh shine we recommend removing them before showering, swimming, or workouts.
Will it turn my skin green?
Nope :) We use high-quality stainless steel and avoid cheap metals like brass, zinc, nickel, alloy, and copper.
Is it real gold?
Pieces listed as gold-plated are coated in 18k gold. Solid gold would cost much more — we focus on balancing quality and affordability.
Is plated jewelry bad?
Only when it’s over cheap metals. Ours is plated over stainless steel for lasting wear.
How do I clean it?
Just use warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

The My Huggies Sparkle Hoop earrings are so cute! They are so comfy and it does not bother me while I sleep! I’ve showered with them in and have been in the pool as well. It is still shiny and my ears have not gotten agitated! I am going to purchase another pair to replace the silver one (different brand) soon!!

I’ve had some issues with my sparkle hoops being loose but the customer service is amazing. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin but have never had an issue with wearing these every day.

These are such a staple piece. You can dress them up/down. Very nice, looks well made. I wear these for digis, to the gym, without & without charms.. etc.
I bought the titanium S Huggies and XS sparkle Huggies, and they’re paired with a classic diamond charm and baby cluster charm :) I absolutelyyyy love these earrings!! I feel so feminine and cute. I’m also super impressed with the company’s support! I had an issue with the XS clasp, and they rectified it quickly. Also to note, I have very sensitive ears, and I’ve had no issues!

i bought 3 sets of huggies for my ear lobe piercings and i couldn’t be more obsessed! they are my perfect everyday earrings! i love how they are waterproof and i don’t have to constantly worry about them tarnishing if i forget to take them off in the shower! i have so many pieces from Stay Golden and i absolutely cannot to buy more!

Absolutely love Stay Golden and the Huggies are so amazing. Easy to put in but stay in! Ocean, kickboxing, cats—they stay in! Easy to take off to switch the charm or clean, but I leave them in for everything. The only time I take it out is for sparring during kickboxing because I don’t want to accidentally rip my ear off. But other than that, they stay in during sweaty workouts and all. Hot and humid here in Florida but there’s no fading or damage to the jewelry. I won’t use any other brand for jewelry.
