Our 14k/ 18k gold plated items are tarnish-free and will maintain their vibrant look as long as they are properly taken care of. Our jewelry can be worn in the shower, pool and beach However, we recommend keeping your piece(s) away from water whenever possible to maintain that fresh shine. If you choose to wear them in the salt/ chlorine water, please remember to wash off the salt/chlorine on the jewelry to keep its shine and look!
In very rare occasions, the jewelry will tarnish because of the PH level in your body. This will happen whether the jewelry is plated or filled with real gold. Skin discoloration happens when too much acid in your body causes your skin to react with your jewelry. If that is the case, we recommend you shopping solid gold pieces.
The short answer is no :) The base metal for all our jewelry is 316L Stainless Steel (unless stated otherwise.) 316L (the "L" refers to "low carbon") is the most commonly utilized which makes it more resistant to corrosion and discoloration than other types of stainless steel. We stay away from cheap metals that turn your skin green such as; Brass, Zinc, Nickel, Alloy and Copper.
Any item that specifies that it is gold-plated in the description box is plated in real 14k/ 18k gold. Solid gold products would be far more expensive than the prices were are able to offer. We strive to balance affordability and quality!
Plated jewelry is only bad when you try to plate cheap metals such as; Brass, Zinc, Nickel, Alloy and Copper.

Shipping policy
Packages are generally dispatched within 7–10 business days after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS First Class. Sometimes there will be delays but please be patient as we are still a small business!
Shipping takes 1-2 business days if you live in Hawaii
Shipping takes 5-7 business days if you live within the USA
Shipping takes 1-3+ weeks if you live outside of the USA. This includes all International orders because they need to pass customs.
Currently we ship to USA, Canada, and Australia! We plan to expand soon!

Shipping to the USA is free for orders $50 and over. Shipping for orders under $50 to the USA is $5.99
Shipping to Canada is free for orders $100 USD and over. Shipping for orders under $100 USD in Canada is $15.99
Shipping to Australia is free for orders $100 USD and over. Shipping for orders under $100 USD to Australia is $18.99
Returns and exchanges
REFUND / RETURNS POLICY:
Please note that we DO NOT have FREE RETURN/EXCHANGES for any orders placed outside of the USA.
- If you placed an order outside of the USA, you will need to pay for your own shipping label at a postal service of your choice to ship it back to our office at 575 Cooke St Unit F (2nd Floor), Honolulu HI 96813.
- You will have the option of store credit or refund (without shipping) once we receive the returned package in good condiiton.
For the safety of our customers, ALL BODY JEWELRY such as nose rings, belly rings, & nipple rings are ALL SALES FINAL due to sanitary reasons. HOWEVER, if the jewelry arrived broken or you are really unsatisfied with them, email us hello@staygoldenhi.com and we will provide you STORE CREDIT of the jewelry amount. Thank you for understanding!
RETURN/EXCHANGE requirements for jewelry such as Necklaces, Earrings, Ring, Bracelets, Anklets, and Waist chains:
1. Return is Initiated by the customer within 30 days of delivery date.
2. Item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
3. Item is mailed back within 14 days of return authorization.
FOR RETURNS:
1. Email us at hello@staygoldenhi.com to let us know that you would like to return your items.
2. We will send you a free return label for your package to send back to us.
3. We will refund you the total amount of your previous order, excluding shipping fee, once we receive your package.
FOR EXCHANGES:
1. Email us at hello@staygoldenhi.com to let us know that you would like to exchange your items.
2. We will send you a free return label for your package to send back to us.
3. You place a new order on our website while the refund is processing OR wait til your money is refunded THEN place the order
Additionally, FREE MYSTERY GIFTS are non refundable or exchangeable.
How do I ship my order back from you?

All returns shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. All return shipments must be sent with “Signature Required” for any carrier used.
